Trading Terms

Orders placed through our wholesale department are available to eligible business customers subject to the following trading terms

MINIMUM ORDER

There is no minimum order value, although some minimum item quantities may apply.

PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices shown are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST. GST will be added to all Australian invoices (currently 10%). Products are sold in pack quantities only.

FREIGHT

Wholesale orders are available by delivery or by pre-arranged pick-up through our Brisbane retail stores.

Orders above $250 (ex GST) are sent FREIGHT-FREE within Australia. Orders below $250 and international deliveries are subject to freight charges at cost price. Items are securely packed and sent by Australia Post Express Post or International Express Post. Dispatch usually takes place within 48 hours of receiving payment. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery depending on your area.

BACK ORDERS

Back orders are not held in our system. If your item is out of stock, we will contact you and advise when it is likely to be back in stock.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment is required prior to goods being dispatched/picked-up. The following methods of payment are accepted:

RETURNS POLICY

You are entitled to an exchange or credit where the goods are unused and in original mint condition up to 14 days from invoice date (excludes K.W.Doggett stock). You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit note where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you, or don't do what they are supposed to. Please note that the value of the refund/credit will be for the cost of the goods only, not the original delivery charge. All returns must be mailed to PO Box 73 Lutwyche QLD 4030 Australia.

ERRORS and SHORTAGES

Should an error or shortage occur with your order, written notification must be made within 14 days from the invoice date. Please ensure to include the invoice number and you will be contacted in order to arrange refund/exchange/credit. Returned goods should be packed sufficiently to avoid damage in transit. Returned goods that are damaged in transit as a result of poor packaging will not be accepted.

PRIVACY POLICY

My Big Event (referred to as "The Company") abides by the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (Cth). The company's commitment to its customers, employees and suppliers is of utmost importance. Personal information may need to be collected as part of the normal business operation. The company agrees that in such circumstances, the collection, access and storage of data of a personal nature will be handled in the strictest of confidence and will never pass it on to any person or company outside of the company.

Personal information may be collected for use as part of lay-bys, orders, in-store competitions, etc. The Privacy law requires us to collect personal information about you only from you if it is reasonable and practical to do so. The company takes measures to ensure your personal information is protected from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration. The company also takes measures to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when it is no longer required. The types of measures undertaken vary with the type of information, and how it is collected and stored.

Generally, you have no obligation to provide any information requested by us. If you choose to withhold requested information however, we may not be able to provide you with the goods and services that depend on the collection of that information, particularly if the collection of that information is required by law.
